Strickland Metals (ASX:STK) started its 2025 exploration program at its Rogozna project in Serbia with a 50,000-meter diamond drilling program, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.

Two rigs have started drilling at the Shanac deposit, aiming to expand and demonstrate grade continuity across the gold ore deposit discovered in 2024, the filing said. Four more rigs will start drilling in the coming weeks, focusing on testing exploration targets and delivering a maiden mineral resource estimate (MRE) for the Gradina deposit.

The updated MRE for the Shanac deposit is on track for this month, per the filing.

Shares fell nearly 4% in afternoon trade Tuesday.
