China Southern Airlines' (HKG:1055, SHA:600029) passenger capacity ticked down 0.9% in February from a year prior.
Regional and international passenger capacity went up 0.03% and 18%, respectively, while domestic passenger capacity declined 6.1%, according to a Monday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.
Passenger traffic rose by 0.5%, with domestic and regional passenger traffic slipping by 4.0% and 6.1%, respectively, and international passenger traffic rising 17%. The passenger load factor was 87%, a 1.14-percentage-point rise from the previous corresponding period.
Cargo capacity declined 1.2%, with cargo and mail traffic rising 13%. The cargo and mail load factor stood at 47%, up 5.8 percentage points from a year prior.
