J.Jill Shares Rise on 4Q Sales Above Expectations

J.Jill shares rose 8.9% after sales in the latest quarter didn't decline as much as Wall Street expected.

Shares were trading around $20.27. The stock is down about 18% over the last year.

The women's apparel company saw fourth-quarter sales decline to $142.8 million from $150.3 million a year earlier. Analysts polled by FactSet expected $142.3 million.
