Health care stocks leaned lower premarket Thursday as the Health Care Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLV) fell by 0.2% and the iShares Biotechnology ETF (IBB) was down 0.1% recently.
ARS Pharmaceuticals (SPRY) shares advanced by over 4% after the company reported that it swung to 2024 earnings as revenue surged during the year.
Elevation Oncology (ELEV) shares were almost 36% lower after the company said it is dropping the development of EO-3021, an antibody-drug conjugate for the potential treatment of advanced, unresectable, or metastatic gastric and gastroesophageal junction cancers.
OptiNose (OPTN) shares were up more than 58% after the company overnight said it agreed to be acquired by Paratek Pharmaceuticals in a deal valued at up to $330 million.
