Health care stocks were flat to higher premarket Tuesday with the iShares Biotechnology ETF (IBB) inactive and the Health Care Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLV) recently up 0.1%.
Harrow (HROW) shares rose past 24% after the company said it expects revenue for the quarter ended Dec. 31 of between $65 million and $67 million, exceeding analysts' expectations.
STAAR Surgical (STAA) said it has named former chief financial officer Deborah Andrews its interim finance chief, effective immediately. STAAR Surgical shares were up over 2% pre-bell.
Summit Therapeutics (SMMT) said it has appointed Robert LaCaze as chief commercial officer. Summit Therapeutics shares were over 1% higher pre-bell.
