Greif (GEF) said Tuesday it will raise prices for all grades of uncoated recycled paperboard by $50 to $70 per short ton.
This increase applies to new orders and shipments starting April 21, the company said.
The price of tube and core, and protective packaging products will rise by at least 7.5%, effective for shipments starting April 28, it added.
The price hikes are due to rising manufacturing costs for uncoated recycled paperboard and the impact of these increased costs on tube and core, and protective packaging products, according to the company.
