Korean Air Lines (KRX:003490) signed agreements with Boeing and GE Aerospace, ahead of the large-scale contracts worth $32.7 billion, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy said Friday.
The airline plans to finalize a firm order for 20 Boeing 777-9 and 20 Boeing 787-10 aircraft by 2033, with options for 10 more, totaling $24.9 billion, the release said.
Additionally, Korean Air will secure eight spare engines and maintenance services from GE Aerospace in a $7.8 billion deal, it said.
