Wells Fargo said it recruited two advisors who previously managed $540 million of assets at Stifel Financial.
Adam Shafiroff and his nephew Laurence Shafiroff joined Wells Fargo in New York, a Wells spokeswoman confirmed. They generated $2.4 million in annual revenue at Stifel. The Sharioffs were joined by Jennifer Urena, senior client associate, and Max Scher, associate financial advisor. Scher is joining Wells Fargo's new advisor development program, the spokeswoman said.
Adam Shafiroff has 44 years of experience in the industry, according to BrokerCheck, a public database maintained by industry self-regulatory organization Finra. He joined Stifel from Jefferies Financial in 2019. He has past work experience at Morgan Stanley and RBC.
Laurence Shafiroff has 40 years of industry experience. He worked at Lehman Brothers for 23 years, transitioning to Barclays in 2008 and then Jefferies in 2014, according to BrokerCheck.
A Stifel spokesman was unavailable for immediate comment.
