UBS Examines Potential HQ Move Unless Switzerland Cuts Capital Demand, Bloomberg Says, Citing Sources

--UBS Group is exploring a potential move of its headquarters if Switzerland sticks to a demand that the bank hold additional capital of $25 billion, Bloomberg reports, citing unnamed sources.

--The Swiss bank is intensifying its lobbying efforts, but received with little enthusiasm a suggestion from the head of Swiss financial regulator Finma that the changes could be implemented over a number of years, Bloomberg reports.

--It is unclear what UBS's alternative base would be, according to Bloomberg.

--UBS declined to comment to Bloomberg, referring to a previous interview where Chief Executive Sergio Ermotti said the bank would make its case until the last minute.
