China Hanking's 2024 Profit Increases; Shares Decline 8%

China Hanking's (HKG:3788) attributable profit rose to 180.9 million yuan in 2024 from 151.8 million yuan in 2023, according to a Thursday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.

Earnings per share at the iron ore miner increased to 0.094 yuan from 0.079 yuan in the previous year.

Revenue, however, declined 18% to 2.48 billion yuan from 3.03 billion yuan a year earlier.

The company declared a final dividend of HK$0.02 per share, payable June 16 to shareholders on record as of June 6.

Shares slid 8% during Friday's afternoon trading.
