Boeing (BA) global president Brendan Nelson met with China's Commerce Minister Wang Wentao to discuss closer cooperation between the company and the country's aviation industry, Reuters reported Tuesday, citing a statement from the ministry.
Wang told Nelson that China expected the company to contribute to the stability of the global aviation industry ecosystem, while also promoting positive China-US economic and trade relations, the news outlet reported.
Boeing did not immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
