Ford Chief Executive James Farley bonus was lower in 2024, which lowered his total compensation in 2024 from a year ago.

The head of the automaking giant's total compensation in 2024 was $24.9 million, a figure which includes bonuses, stock awards and salary, according to recent filings. In 2023, the executive earned $26.5 million in total compensation.

Last year's lower compensation was due to a lower bonus, or nonequity incentive plan compensation, which came to $1.6 million in 2024, down from $2.4 million a year earlier.

The executive's salary remained flat in the year at $1.7 million, and his stock award was just a little higher at $20.6 million, up from $20.3 million a year earlier.
