China's Yiren Digital (YRD) said Thursday that it formed a joint venture with Pinjaman Kemakmuran Rakyat and Artha Digital Investama.

Yiren plans to integrate its artificial-intelligence-driven technologies into risk management algorithms, automated customer service platforms, and data-driven marketing solutions offered by the JV, which will likely commence operations in H2.

"The technological foundation will enable the platform to scale efficiently and deliver secure, customer-centric financial services tailored to the Indonesian market," the company said.

Artha Digital is a member of Artha Graha Network, an Indonesian conglomerate. AG Network's support is expected to expedite regulatory approvals and ensure swift market entry for the JV.
