Market Chatter: Meta Platforms' Asia-Pacific Chief Dan Neary Resigns

MT Newswires Live03-27

Meta Platforms Inc (META) Vice President for the Asia-Pacific region, Dan Neary, is quitting the company, Bloomberg News reported Thursday citing an internal post.

He left for personal reasons, a Meta spokesperson told Bloomberg.

Neary assumed the role in 2013 and oversaw the company's user base expansion from Australia to Greater China and Southeast Asia, according to the report.

"I plan to stay on for a few months while a successor is named and to help with the transition," Neary reportedly said.

Meta did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment on the matter.
