MillerKnoll to Consider Incremental Price Surcharges to Offset Volatility -- Market Talk

Dow Jones03-26

1832 ET - MillerKnoll will consider incremental price surchages if necessary to manage this period of volatility market by increased tariffs, CEO Andi Owen says on a call with analysts. The furniture company's position to current macroeconomic uncertainty comes after the executive said MillerKnoll is raising its list prices by 4.5%, effective June 2. "In addition, we will partner with suppliers, leverage value engineering and available flexibility within our supply chain and manufacturing footprint to offset cost impacts wherever possible," she says. Still, the company has the balance sheet strength to go through the current conditions, which will allow it to invest in profitable growth opportunities, Owen adds.(sabela.ojea@wsj.com; @sabelaojeaguix)
