BlockBeats News, March 28th, on-chain detective ZachXBT posted in the official channel, stating, "I suspect that a Coinbase user was scammed out of $34.9 million yesterday (400.099 BTC)."
Upon discovering this scam, I noticed that in the past two weeks, there have been several other suspected cases of Coinbase users being scammed. Each time, the stolen funds were cross-chained from Bitcoin to Ethereum via Thorchain/Chainflip and converted to DAI.
Despite these scam addresses appearing in multiple victims' funds, Coinbase has not flagged these addresses in its compliance tools."
