China Eastern Airlines 2024 net loss 4.2 billion yuanBEIJING, March 28 (Reuters) - China's state-owned Eastern Airlines 600115.SS said on Friday its net loss shrank to 4.2 billion yuan ($578 million) in 2024 from a 8.2-billion-yuan loss the previous year.
The Shanghai-headquartered carrier said that last year the Chinese civil aviation industry still faced significant operational pressures due to factors such as fluctuating oil prices and exchange rate volatility.
