Major digital assets were mixed late afternoon Tuesday, with Bitcoin (BTC-USD) trading around the $88,000 level.
The CoinDesk Market Index, which tracks dozens of digital assets including Bitcoin, shed 0.4% in the past 24 hours. The Nasdaq 100 was up 0.5% in late trading, the S&P 500 added 0.2%, and Dow Jones Industrial Average edged up fractionally.
Bitcoin was down 0.1% at $88,225, according to CoinMarketCap data. The most popular cryptocurrency's 24-hour trading volume fell 5.5% to $29.8 billion.
Ethereum (ETH-USD), the second-largest digital asset by market value, dipped 0.4% to $2,079.
XRP (XRP-USD) was down 0.3, BNB (BNB-USD) dipped 0.8%, and Solana (SOL-USD) surged 2%.
Dogecoin (DOGE-USD) added 2.7%, while Cardano (ADA-USD) rose 1.8%.
The US 10-year Treasury yield stood at 4.304% at 3 p.m. ET Tuesday, down from 4.329% Monday, while the five-year yield fell to 4.054% from 4.093%.
The total market value of the cryptocurrency industry increased 0.1% in the past 24 hours to $2.88 trillion, with trading volume falling 11.2% at $76.4 billion.
