MillerKnoll's Response to Tariffs Could Backfire -- Market Talk
Dow Jones2025-03-29
1438 ET - While MillerKnoll reported solid F3Q results this weak, expected pressure from tariffs prompts Benchmark analysts to cut their FY25 and FY26 EPS estimates to $1.85 and $1.95, respectively, down from $2.13 and $2.40. The analysts say the office furniture specialist plans to raise prices 4.5% in early June. "While we believe this amount would be sufficient to offset the known tariff risks to date, we are more concerned about the lag/timing and potential optics of increased discounting should the tariffs 'go away,'" the analysts say. MillerKnoll falls 3%. (sabela.ojea@wsj.com; @sabelaojeaguix)
