Teradata $(TDC)$ Lynrock Lake filed an initial 13D regarding its stake in the data analytics company, shifting to the stance of an activist investor from previous disclosures in a passive 13G. In that filing, Lynrock reported that it purchased 2,572,320 Teradata shares from Feb. 12 through March 6, 2025, at per share prices of $23.15 to $24.69. On March 15, Lynrock CIO Cynthia Paul discussed business strategy with Teradata's CEO, highlighting her view that the stock was undervalued and emphasizing the need to hire a CFO.

After the latest purchases, Lynrock owns 9,416,666 shares, equal to a 9.9% stake in Teradata. Shares have lost about 22.9% since the start of 2025.

Increases in Holdings

Rapid7 $(RPD)$ Jana Partners raised its stake in the cybersecurity company to 3,867,463 shares. Jana Partners did so through the purchase of 177,334 Rapid7 shares on March 24, 2025, at an average price of $29.96 per share. On March 21, Jana entered into a cooperation agreement with Rapid7, pursuant to which Kevin Galligan, Michael Burns, and Wael Mohamed will be appointed to the board.

Following the latest purchases, Jana owns 6% of Rapid7's outstanding stock. Shares of Rapid7 have lost over a quarter of their value since the start of 2025.

Decreases in Holdings

Ball $(BALL)$ Parnassus Investments filed an initial 13D regarding its stake in the packaging company, shifting to the stance of an activist investor from previous disclosures in a passive 13G. In that filing, Parnassus reported that it sold 2,051,209 Ball shares from Jan. 21 to March 21, 2025, at per share prices of $49.20 to $56.08, then offset those sales through the purchase of 38,973 Ball shares from Jan. 23 to March 19 at $49.33 to $56.16.

Following the latest activity, Parnassus continues to own 15,855,875 Ball shares, equal to 5.6% of those outstanding. Shares of Ball have lost roughly 6.6% since the start of this year.

Frontier Communications Parent $(FYBR)$ Ares Management lowered its stake in the telecommunications company to 12,206,847 shares. Ares did so through the sale of 3,651,309 Frontier shares from March 18 through March 19, 2025, at per share prices of $35.77 to $35.78.

After the latest sales, Ares owns 4.9% of Frontier's outstanding stock, placing it below the 5% threshold that would require Ares to disclosure further Frontier sales. Shares of Frontier have gained about 3.1% since the start of this year.

National Energy Services Reunited $(NESR)$ Mubbadrah Investment cut its stake in the oilfield services provider to 6,661,474 shares. Mubbadrah did so through the sale of 1,432,663 National Energy shares from July 1, 2024, through Jan. 21, 2025, at per share prices of $8.35 to $9.70.

Following the latest sales, Mubbadrah continues to own 7% of National Energy's outstanding stock.
