Faraday Future Intelligent Electric Sees Reciprocal Trade Policy as 'Opportunity' for Domestic Producers

MT Newswires Live04-04

Faraday Future Intelligent Electric (FFAI) said early Friday the reciprocal tariff policy represents an "opportunity" for US-based automakers.

With almost 50% of new vehicles sold in the US currently being imports, the California-based electric mobility company said it will benefit from shifting demand toward vehicles manufactured domestically.

Faraday said its supply chain will, as planned, substantially be sourced domestically, further "enhancing resilience and efficiency. " The trade policy changes will "accelerate its mission" of delivering artificial intelligence electric vehicles.
