Myers Industries said that Grant Fitz, its executive vice president and finance chief, has submitted his resignation, effective May 2.

Daniel Hoehn, vice president and corporate controller, will serve in an interim role until a permanent CFO is named.

The manufacturing company said Fitz will remain in his current role until his departure date, working closely with Hoehn.

The company said it has already launched a formal search to identify candidates, and these leadership changes aren't the result of any matters relating to the company's accounting practices or financial statements.

Hoehn, who has been in his current role with Myers since 2019, also served interim CFO from September 2020 to March 2021.
