Only 21.2% would recommend a career as an agent, with 49.8% unlikely to recommend it, citing unpredictable income and client scarcity as drawbacks, though entrepreneurial freedom was a highlight. The affordability crisis tops future concerns, with 64.2% of agents worried, alongside inventory shortages and falling commissions. Following a year of industry upheaval, 51% of agents now hold an unfavorable view of the National Association of Realtors, a significant increase from 19% in 2023, Redfin says.
