Trump Says South Korea, Others, Are Ready to Agree Trade Deals -- WSJ

President Trump said he had taken a call with South Korea's acting president, Han Duck-soo. "We talked about their tremendous and unsustainable Surplus, Tariffs, Shipbuilding, large scale purchase of U.S. LNG, their joint venture in an Alaska Pipeline, and payment for the big time Military Protection we provide to South Korea," Trump said in a post on his Truth Social platform Tuesday.

Trump said South Korea was sending a team to the U.S. to negotiate a trade deal, adding that his administration was in discussions with "many" other countries. "China also wants to make a deal, badly, but they don't know how to get it started. We are waiting for their call," he wrote.
