Dow Jones04-08

0837 GMT - Hilton Food's 2025 earnings will continue to be hit by currency headwinds, Shore Capital analysts Darren Shirley and Clive Black write. The headwinds have strengthened in recent weeks and volatility could continue over the coming months, they add. As a result, the analysts have lowered their full-year adjusted pretax profit expectations to 80.1 million pounds from 82.5 million pounds. This leads to a new adjusted earnings per share forecast of 62 pence and on-year growth at a modest 2.4%, they write. Hilton Food is expected to report 86.5 million pounds in 2026 and 94.7 million pounds in 2027, they add. Shares trade down 0.4% at 848 pence. (adam.whittaker@wsj.com)
