Postal Savings Bank's Controlling Shareholder Boosts Stake

Postal Savings Bank of China's (HKG:1658, SHA:601658) controlling shareholder, China Post Group, bought an additional 19,910,200 A shares in the bank on Tuesday, a same-day bourse filing said.

Following completion, China Post Group will hold 62,275,459,480 shares in the bank, comprising 62,194,759,480 A shares and 80,700,000 H shares, representing 62.78% of the total issued ordinary shares of the lender.

China Post Group intends to continue increasing its holding of the lender's A shares within the next 12 months.
