Sector Update: Financial Stocks Fall Pre-Bell Friday

Financial stocks fell pre-bell Friday as the Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLF) was 0.8% lower recently.

The Direxion Daily Financial Bull 3X Shares (FAS) was down 1.7% and its bearish counterpart Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ) was 1.4% higher.

JPMorgan Chase (JPM) shares were down over 1% even after the company reported higher Q1 earnings and net revenue.

Morgan Stanley (MS) shares fell past 2% even after the company reported higher Q1 earnings and net revenue.

Yiren Digital (YRD) shares were up more than 3% after the company said its proprietary Zhiyu Large Model has received regulatory approval for commercialization under China's Interim Measures for the Management of Generative AI Services.
