BUZZ-Major US insurers jump as Trump announces 90-day tariff pause

** Shares of U.S. insurers jump after President Donald Trump says he has authorized a 90-day tariff pause for many countries, effective immediately

** MetLife MET.N jumps 8.3%, Prudential Financial PRU.N rises 8.16%, Travelers TRV.N up 4.2% and American International Group AIG.N up 6.6%

** Trump, however, says he would raise the duties on Chinese imports to 125% from the 104% level

** YTD, including session's moves, MET down ~9.8%, PRU down ~13.2%, TRV up ~1.2% and AIG up ~12.5%
