Consumer stocks edged higher premarket Monday as the Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLP) was up 0.2% and the Consumer Discretionary Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLY) rose by 1.4% recently.
Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings (NCLH) shares were up over 3% after the company said it plans to build new amenities and upgrades at Great Stirrup Cay, its private island in the Bahamas.
Molson Coors Beverage (TAP) said President and Chief Executive Officer Gavin Hattersley plans to retire from the company by Dec. 31. Molson Coors Beverage shares were over 1% higher premarket.
Netflix (NFLX) is testing a new artificial intelligence search technology that aims to refine how users explore its catalog, Bloomberg News reported. Shares of Netflix wre up more than 1% pre-bell.
