Zurich North America recruits CNA’s Sullivan as head of technology

April 15 - (The Insurer) - Zurich North America has added Jeannie Sullivan to its expansive U.S. middle market team with the recruit joining from CNA Insurance as head of technology.

In her new role, Sullivan will lead strategy development and execution for Zurich North America’s technology industry practice.

Having joined Zurich North America, Sullivan reports into Stan Bernard, head of industry practices for U.S. middle market.

Sullivan, who is based in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area, brings 35 years of insurance experience, including in roles focused on the technology industry.

At CNA, Sullivan most recently served as assistant vice president, commercial officer for the carrier’s middle market business unit.

Prior to CNA, Sullivan held leadership positions at Berkley Technology Underwriters, including executive vice president and chief underwriting officer.

Her career also includes stints at OneBeacon Insurance Company, Chubb, The St Paul Companies and PHICO Insurance Company.

Sullivan’s arrival is the second senior appointment Zurich North America has announced in recent weeks, after the carrier earlier this month revealed it had recruited Eric Amadori from Markel as head of management liability, public.
