Xiaomi's (HKG:1810) new phone activations rose 17% year over year to 3.24 million in March, the highest in mainland China, The Standard reported Tuesday, citing mainland Chinese media.
The phone maker's market share reached nearly 17.98% during the month, the report said.
Huawei's new phone activations came in second at about 20% to 3.23 million and a 17.9% market share, the report said.
Vivo was third with its new phone activations falling 2.7%, Oppo at 7.7%.
Apple was at fifth with 2.5 million new phones activated, the report said.
