China National Offshore Oil Corporation (HKG:0883, SHA:600938) or CNOOC signed a deal to purchase liquefied natural gas from Abu Dhabi National Oil Corp or ADNOC as the Chinese LNG markets were affected by US tariffs, Reuters reported Monday, citing sources and a state media China Energy News.

The deal follows ADNOC's two separate deals with ENN Natural Gas (SHA:600803) and Zhenhua Oil, the report said.

CNOOC and ADNOC did not immediately respond to Reuters request for comment, the report said.
