Archer-Daniels-Midland (ADM) will permanently shutter its soybean processing plant in Kershaw, South Carolina, later this spring to save costs, Reuters reported Monday, citing a company spokesperson.
"After exploring a wide variety of alternatives, we've determined that our Kershaw crush plant no longer aligns with our future operational needs," the news agency reported, citing ADM spokesperson Dane Lisser.
The company didn't immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
