The only time the U.S. dollar, S&P 500 and 10-year Treasury yields were lower at this point of the year was in 2008, according to Dow Jones Market Data.
The concurrent declines in the U.S. dollar and S&P 500 are part of the "Sell America" trade that has swept markets since Trump's tariffs were announced. Though yields have fallen this year as bond prices have risen, at times even Treasury prices have sunk alongside riskier bets like stocks. That was the case in trading Monday.
