BYD (SHE:002594, HKG:1211) has unveiled the "world's largest" vehicle cargo ship, the BYD Shenzhen, as part of its push to expand global deliveries, Xinhua News reported Tuesday.
The 219-meter liquefied natural gas dual-fuel vessel can transport 9,200 vehicles and features green technologies to meet International Maritime Organization environmental standards, according to the report.
This is the electric vehicle maker's fourth such ship, which will soon set sail for Brazil after completing loading operations this week, Xinhua wrote.
BYD shares rose 5% in recent trade on the Shenzhen bourse.
