Xiaomi (HKG:1810) refuted a media report it will postpone the launch of its YU7 electric sports utility vehicle, Retuers reported, citing Xiaomi's public relations chief Wang Hua.

Wang said the launch date "had not been changed," according to the report, citing a post on Wang's social media account.

The YU7 launch will proceed in either June or July, as announced by Chief Executive Officer Lei Jun, the news agency said.

Meanwhile, Lei also did not show up during the Shanghai auto show, Reuters reported, citing a spokesperson for Xiaomi.
