Here are the highlights of the deal that the U.S. and China announced Monday after talks in Geneva:
-- The U.S. will reduce its 125% "reciprocal" tariff on Chinese goods to 10%.
-- China will likewise reduce its retaliatory levy on U.S. goods to 10% from 125%.
-- The separate U.S. tariff of 20% on Chinese goods related to the fentanyl issue will remain.
-- The reductions will last for 90 days while the two sides continue negotiations.
-- China agrees to suspend or cancel nontariff measures it had adopted in retaliation against the U.S.
