The reduction in U.S.-China tariffs is good news for investors, but looming tariffs on pharmaceutical and tech products could still delay many big spending plans.

"A key question in our mind is whether businesses have seen enough to look through the uncertainty as well and move ahead with hiring and investment decisions," Evercore ISI analysts said in a note.
