Jiangyin Hengrun Heavy Industries (SHA:603985) plans to invest around 1.20 billion yuan to construct a plant for wind power gearbox components, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Friday.
The factory in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, China will produce 2,000 sets of the components every year.
Phase I of the construction will begin in July, the Chinese heavy equipment parts manufacturer said.
The company's shares slipped less than 2% at the close.
