ITI Secures INR69.6 Billion BharatNet Phase-3 Contracts

Telecom manufacturer ITI (NSE:ITI, BOM:523610) has signed agreements with BSNL on behalf of the Universal Service Obligation Fund for BharatNet Phase-3 Packages 8, 9, and 15, totalling 69.6 billion Indian rupees, according to a Monday filing.

Packages 8 and 9, covering Himachal Pradesh, West Bengal, and Andaman & Nicobar Islands, carry a combined order value of 50.6 billion rupees, the filing said.

The Package 15 agreement, valued at over 19 billion rupees, covers network development in Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, and Manipur, including 11.7 billion rupees for capex and 7.33 billion rupees for opex, it added.

The deals cover design, supply, construction, installation, upgrade, operation, and maintenance of middle-mile fiber network across multiple states and union territories.
