SK Telecom (KRX:017670) launched A. X 4.0, a Korean-optimized large language model (LLM) as open source, according to a Thursday release.
The AI model is designed for enhanced Korean-language processing and data security, with on-premise deployment options.
The LLM also delivered 33% greater efficiency in Korean-language tasks than GPT-4o based on its test results.
Shares of SK Telecom fell nearly 1% at market close.
