July 3 - (The Insurer) - Digital follow-form platform Ki announced on Thursday the appointment of former PartnerRe chief executive Jacques Bonneau as chair.
Bonneau assumed the role of non-executive chair of Ki Financial Limited on July 1.
He previously served as president and CEO of PartnerRe, a role he retired from in March 2024.
Other previous roles include group chief underwriting officer at Chubb and senior adviser at the Bermuda Monetary Authority.
Since retiring from executive roles, Bonneau last month launched Novel Financial Holdings in partnership with Howden Re’s Rob Bredahl, a start-up aiming to own attorneys-in-fact and traditional stock companies supporting MGUs, combining fee income with underwriting returns.
Bonneau was appointed to the board of Brit Re in the role of non-executive director in June last year.
Earlier this year, Ki completed its separation from its former parent Brit to become a standalone company within the Fairfax group.
