A consortium founded by Huitong Construction Group (SHA:603176) won an education center construction bid for 425.6 million yuan, according to a Shanghai bourse disclosure on Tuesday.
The Chinese construction company, along with consortium member Hebei Shiyuan Engineering Consulting Group, will construct section 1 of the Gaobeidian Vocational Education Center.
The section includes a teaching area of 53,291.22 square meters.
The construction period will begin on Aug. 10 this year and is expected to be completed on Dec. 31, 2026.
Huitong Construction's shares rose less than 2% in recent trade.
