Carrefour Names Pablo Lorenzo as Next Latin America, Brazil Executive Director

Carrefour appointed Pablo Lorenzo as executive director of its Brazilian subsidiary and the Latin America region, effective July 14.

The French grocer said late Monday that Lorenzo would succeed Stephane Maquaire, who is leaving the group.

Lorenzo will also be a member of the group's executive committee.

Brazil represents a core market as it expands in the region, the group said.
