China Coal Xinji Energy's (SHA:601918) revenue from its coal business between January and June dropped 18% year on year to 3.28 billion yuan from 4.02 billion yuan, according to Shanghai bourse filing on Wednesday.
The company sold 9.4 million tons of commercial coal in the same period, up 3.6% from 9.1 million tons in the previous year.
The Chinese coal miner's commercial coal output climbed 6.2% to 9.9 million tons from 9.4 million tons a year earlier.
