Caravel Minerals (ASX:CVV) started the engineering tendering process for the process plant design and key infrastructure for the definitive engineering study of its Caravel copper project in Western Australia, according to an Australian bourse filing on Thursday.
The process is targeting an award and definitive engineering study commencement from August, the filing said. Additional tender packages are being progressed for critical infrastructure, including the water pipeline from a remote borefield, the tailings management facility, the mining operations, and the non-processing infrastructure.
Caravel Minerals' shares jumped 3% in recent trading on Thursday.
