Jiangsu Guoxin's (SHE:002608) subsidiary, Jiangsu Guoxin Shazhou Power Generation, officially commissioned on Tuesday the first of two newly constructed 1,000-megawatt double-reheat ultra-supercritical coal-fired power generating units, according to a Shenzhen bourse filing on Wednesday.
The unit, which is located in Zhangjiagang City, Jiangsu Province, China, was put into operation after completing a 168-hour full-load trial run, the Chinese power generation company said.
The company's shares slipped over 1% at the close.
