1357 ET - Mitsubishi's Mirage, the last remaining new vehicle selling for below $20,000 in the U.S., will likely disappear from dealer's lots by the end of summer, Kelley Blue Book says. In June, the average transaction price for a Mirage sedan was $18,484, and virtually no incentives were offered on the vehicle, Kelley Blue Book says. "The vehicle has been discontinued and, with no new models arriving, the available inventory is disappearing," Kelley Blue Book adds. vAuto Live Market View, a Cox Automotive database, showed fewer than 1,700 Mirages available across the U.S., Kelley Blue Book says, adding "at the current sales pace, the final sub-$20,000 vehicle will go extinct by the end of the summer."
