Bethel Automotive Safety Systems (SHA:603596) will invest 198 million yuan into a partnership fund, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Wednesday.
Gongqingcheng Bojin Venture Investment Partnership (Limited Partnership) will have a capital of 200 million yuan and will invest in humanoid robotics, automotive intelligence, mobility tech, and low-altitude economy. It may also invest in companies listed on the National Equities Exchange and Quotations or NEEQ.
The Chinese automotive braking systems manufacturer will own 99% of the fund, while the fund's general partner, Xiamen Zonhon Jinding Private Equity Fund Management, will own 1% after investing 2 million yuan.
The company's shares jumped less than 3% during midday trade.
