United Overseas Australia (ASX:UOS) said its unit UOA Vietnam entered an agreement to acquire VIAS Hong Ngoc Bao Joint Stock firm for around $68.3 million, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The acquisition will be funded from the firm's reserves, and the company is conducting due diligence on the proposed acquisition, the filing said.
The company expects to finalise a share purchase agreement soon and complete the deal by Dec. 31.
